Patrick G. Kelley
Mr. Kelley serves as chief operating officer for ResCare overseeing the Company’s Community Services Group and Employment Training Services segment. In his more than 20 years with ResCare, Mr. Kelley has served most recently as president of the Community Services Group, which is ResCare’s largest operating group accounting for nearly 70% of the Company’s annual revenues. The Community Services Group provides services to people with cognitive, intellectual and developmental disabilities; home care to senior citizens; and foster and residential care to children. In his current position he has oversight for ResCare’s employment and training segment Arbor E & T, which offers workforce training and job placement to people who face barriers to employment. Mr. Kelley began his work career with ResCare as a direct support professional while he attended college and afterwards in a number of management positions gaining more responsibility. He served as regional vice president for 12 states and then was promoted to senior vice president of the division and ultimately senior vice president of support services in the company’s resource center. He accepted the position of COO in August 2009. Mr. Kelley holds a degree in psychology from Western Kentucky University and a Masters of Science and Social Work from the University of Louisville.
