BEELONG Adult Day Services and WIB180 – Making a Difference

BEELONG Adult Day Services is a non-profit, community-based service designed to meet the needs of older or impaired adults through structured, comprehensive, non-residential programs that provide a variety of health, social and supportive services in a supervised setting. BEELONG is licensed by the Departments of Aging and Public Welfare and is accredited by CARF. BEELONG has been in operation for over 24 years and is committed to providing quality programs to our community through dedicated, professionally trained staff.
Over the last year, in an effort to continue supporting our surrounding communities, BEELONG began looking into the WIB180 Program. Since we strongly believe a caring, motivated and educated staff is vital for the success of our programs, we felt an instant connection with the mission of the WIB180 Program. Providing an individual with a purposeful career path helps to create a driven, loyal and dependable employee. After all, isn’t it purpose that gets each one of us up and out of bed every morning? For those of us whose business success depends on a staff of committed individuals, this just seemed like a natural relationship. Knowing that the individuals that we choose to work with through the WIB180 Program have access to a wonderful support base through their advisors made this decision even easier. We currently have two individuals who were hired through the WIB180 program. One employee has been with us since August and brings wonderful, fresh energy and ideas to our organization. We have just entered into a working relationship with the second and are excited about what the future holds for this individual. What a great opportunity to be able to continue offering quality care through committed staff and impact a young life and their future at the same time.
