Arbor Kansas Makes a Difference
To the staff of Arbor Education and Training,
I just wanted to take the time to commend you all for a job well done, and to tell you that it has been a pleasure working with you all. I have been through about all the programs that [Social and Rehabilitation Services] has to offer, and this program is by far the best one that I have completed.
I walked into this office on the first day of class and thought that there was no way that I would learn anything new, but by the end of the course I had a better résumé, better interviewing skills, and learned that I need to use networking skills to further my career. […] After being out of the workforce for two years I was nervous, but after having completed the work experience program I have new skills, good references, and have my confidence back […].
I am now in the final stages of the interview process for a very good job with the Kansas Department of Commerce and, had it not been for this program, I would never have made it this far. Thank you for being here and teaching me what I thought I already knew.
