(Los Angeles, CA) The Corporation for National and Community Service, in collaboration with the U.S. Department of Labor and the White House have launched the United We Serve initiative. The initiative encourages all Americans to volunteer in meaningful projects to better their communities. Department of Labor Secretary Hilda Solis kicked off the event on her June 22nd visit to La Causa YouthBuild in East Los Angeles.
